Preamble
In the following text, the words or phrases listed below have specific definitions. It is important you know what these definitions are.
"Discord" refers to the application owned by the company Discord, Inc.
"We", "Us", and "Our" refers to the developers and owners of the Lockr discord bot.
"Lockr" and "Lockr Discord Bot" refers to the actual bot on Discord named "Lockr", owned by Lockr developers.
"Discord Terms of Service" refers to the document dictating the terms for using the Discord platform, found at https://discord.com/terms.
"Discord Community Guidelines" refers to the document dictating the policies surrounding content on Discord, which applies especially in community servers. This document is in a more human-readable format, and it is found at https://discord.com/guidelines.
The Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines apply at all times when using any part of the Discord platform, including the Lockr Discord Bot. These guidelines that will be set forth on this page apply to usage of Lockr at all times. Violation of these guidelines may result in punishments of varying severity. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to any part of Lockr for any time, and for any reason, regardless of it being detailed in the text below. Use your common sense when using the bot.
Accepting These Terms
By accepting these terms, you agree:
That you are over the age of 13 and age of digital consent in your jurisdiction
That if you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction, that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms
If you are over the age of 13 and over the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction but under the age of majority, that your legal guardian has read, understood, and agrees to these terms.
Use of Lockr
When using Lockr, you agree to follow the rules outlined in these terms. You understand that if you violate these terms, you immediately lose any and all rights to use the services. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use Lockr whilst you are abiding by and in compliance with these terms. You agree to not use the Lockr to do the following:
Violate the Discord Terms of Service or Discord Community Guidelines in any content that Lockr sends. Lockr only can possibly do this in user-generated content, such as lock and unlock embeds.
Violate the rights of any party or entity or making any information available that infringes on copyright or other property laws.
Attack, intimidate, annoy, harass, threaten, or stalk anyone
Attack, abuse, damage, or (attempt to) harm Lockr. If you find something that you don't think is right on accident, make sure to inform us.
Engage in any activity that is harmful or otherwise uncool.
Additionally, you may not copy, distribute, or make available any part of Lockr. You agree not to create copies of the bot itself.
Limitation Of Liability
The Lockr Discord Bot is provided by us on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any harm, damage, or disruptions caused by the services. Additionally, we don't guarantee the uptime or stability of Lockr. We also don't guarantee the safety or accuracy of content, data, or information provided by Lockr. Some things are out of our control; however, we will make reasonable efforts to assure the uptime of Lockr.
